We’ve confirmed our first two summer shows!

August 20th — The Jemima James Featherstone Variety Show, where we’ll join our friend and mentor Jemima along with other Martha’s Vineyard folk for an outdoor hootenanny at the Featherstone Center for the Arts.

Here’s a taste of what two years ago at Featherstone was like:

August 21st—As part of the “Tuesdays at Twighlight” series to benefit the West Tisbury Library, we’ll be playing at the historic West Tisbury Grange Hall with the future historic Nina Violet.

To get yourself pumped, listen to our friend (and Jemima’s son) Willy Mason’s EP recorded live at the Grange.

Our dear friend Nina Violet (pictured below in Sanford the Meisner Mobile) has released quite the fucking album, entitled We’ll Be Alright. It’s available for download now at bandcamp, as is her previous masterpiece, Lose Strife.

Do yourself a favor and get to downloading.

Martha’s Vineyard, where we played Jemima James’ annual variety show at the beautiful Featherstone Center for the Arts, with Jemima — mothersistergoddessfriendsupreme — Nina Violent, Marciana Jones, Lexie Roth, and a whole lot of other brilliant, absurdly lovely people. Also, a fire dancer.
